The HADAG stop Neuhof is located in the southwestern area of the Hamburg harbor on the Elbe island of Wilhelmsburg. It is the endpoint of ferry line 61 and primarily serves commuter traffic. In the immediate vicinity, there are large logistics and industrial areas, especially in the field of port operations. The terminal itself is functional and less geared towards tourist use – however, it is a critical hub for dockworkers and commuters who want to cross the Elbe quickly and without traffic jams.
There are no traditional attractions in the immediate vicinity of the Neuhof stop, as the area is primarily industrial. However, those who venture a bit further towards Wilhelmsburg can reach the Georgswerder Energy Hill after just a few kilometers, a former garbage hill offering panoramic views of the harbor along with a sustainable exhibition concept. Also easily accessible is the Wilhelmsburg Island Park area, which originated from the International Garden Show 2013 – today a green recreational area with sports facilities, water features, and leisure zones.
Neuhof is served by line 61.
Next, the route continues back through the stops: Waltershof → Dockland (fishing port) → Altona (fish market) → Landungsbrücken.
